Hybrid Seed Distribution

After a long journey of deprivation, Guard Rice was the first private sector to take crucial steps in the world of Rice production. Guard Rice; a true lover of rice, made an agreement with M/s Yuan Longping High-Tech Agriculture company Limited China and became a super-producer of Hybrid seed. Guard Rice established 10 fields for trial of 5 different hybrid rice combination in different, fertile lands of Punjab and Sindh.

By the support of MINFAL, PARC, NARC, Provincial PRI’s and agricultural departments etc, `Guard’ feels proud to revolutionize and elevate the per acre yield of rice in Pakistan. After great and tiring efforts and co-operation of Human Rice Research Institute (HRRI) China, the impossible was attained.

Human Rice Research Institute (World Wide recognized giant in producing hybrid seed) established in 1938, has become a comprehensive Research and Development organization. Guard Rice is fortunate for the co-operation of Yuan Longping; the Father of Hybrid seed winner of National Invention Prize and eight international prizes.

The splendid joint venture between Guard Rice and HRRI (Hunan Rice Research Institute) has proved to be a foundation stone for Pak-China friendship. Our conventional course is not only the most lovable in China but also enjoyed in Pakistan. Two Hybrid rice varieties GNY 50 and 53 have created tremendous demand in customers and Governmental department has approved them for commercial cultivation.
